i think it would be better if he made a movie of the silmarillion because its more of a story wrather then a compositon if different tales

Yes, The Unfinished Tales, but also I love the Silmallion, and I would love to see in a movie.
Problems though: it would be too costly to make, most average moviegoers wouldn't understand any aspect of it. They would keep asking when do the Hobbits come in? Where are Aragorn & Arwen? Whatever happened to Elrond's Place? When do we get to the battle with the Orcs? And so on . . .
Shame it isn't affordable for Jackson to make another film just for us fans to view.

I would love to see the other books J.R.R made but peter jackson does not have the "rights" to those books. Same as MEO does not have all rights to the Hobbit, Silmarillion( is that spelled right) But if he did have rights. He should make unfinished tales. Luts hope he gets those rights. I dont think he will because he will win more grammys. Hahaha. HE won like 11 grammies from ROTK only. It was funny he had to use both hands to hold them all.

The Silmarillion would be an excellent movie to see, but seeing the Valar on TV would not do it justice or take away the beauty and mystery of the West, but that is in my opinion. Another thing, I am sure the cost of the movie would be quite too large, or the movie too long (for some, not me) *I will await the day when I can look down at my homework and see the Encyclopedias of Arda and the Silmarillion instead of my Social Studies and Civics book!*

Silmarillion,of wat ive read, is a tight book, along with Unfinished Tales....it would be awsome if they could have a movie of each

I have to say 'no'. Alot of 'unfinished tales' is based on Christopher Tolkiens' perception of his fathers notes and other written texts and besides 'the silmarillion' would make a much more thrilling movie. But considering it now, it is a huge story(although written in shorter chpaters etc...). You could do a whole film just of Tuor and Gondolin (that way unfinished tales can be included) It would be aver long film, maybe longer that the LOTR trilogy itself if they were to do a gd enuff version of the whole silmarillion story... the ages of starlight....the making of the silmarillion.....the slaying of kin.....melkor and ungoliant....all the way to the unmaking of beleriand. WEll gd if they did though!!!
