A small note is left up for all to see. And it reads:
"Hail all Hobbits, Elves, Men and Dwarves alike! A large party hosted by Hobbits of the Shire is being held in Hobbiton from dawn until the sunrise the next morning! Any good-aligned dwellers are welcome to join in the food, drink and merriment. Bring your stories, your music and your dances! 'Tis a day for all to enjoy themselves. If you come into Hobbiton, you won't miss it.
