I thought that Return of the King was really good. It did leave out some of the side stories like Eowyn meeting Faramir and all that, and I think they had too much Arwen, no offense to anyone. Other than that it was really cool and I personally think that it's almost as good as the FotR as far as staying true to the book and as good as TTT as far as action goes. Please post your thoughts on the movie.

i totally agree with u Eldawen, thats the best lotr movie out of the three. although the 1 thing i had a problem with them leaving out wus the shire battle in the end . other than that i gotta say its the best movie ive ever seen ;D.

I too was disappointed when they left out the Scouring of the Shire, even though we've known that it was cut since the Fellowship came out. I can see why they cut it for time reasons but they really shouldn't have because we would have seen the hobbits show what they have become on the journey.

Although I was dissapointed at the missing bits, I think it was done extremly well. It doesn't really matter if u don't include everything, just that the overall feeling of LOTR is there.

For me, the sadest part in RotK was when Frodo told Sam to go home after Smeagol framed him. I nearly cried. The most triumphant part though, was when the Riders of Rohan charged at the orcs at the Pelennor Fields and all the orcs began to get scared.

I throught that it was very great and Elfhelm I liked that part to when Legolas got onto that Oliphant and took it down and when they turned up on that ship and the orcs facese. I'm abit upset today cause yesterday I had to put my little Arwen to sleep and she was the most friendlyest rat I've ever had.

If the "Return of the King" extended is too long, or too many dics to fit the packaging, like the other two movies, should the amount of content and number of discs be cut to make it affordable?
And what if the "Return of the King" extended version was cut in content and number of discs, to match the pricing of the two previous movies, would you buy a supplemental disc that contained all of the "cut out" material?
