If Tolkien wrote the 4th book about the 4th age what do you think it should have been about? I think it should be about after the ring was destroy'd! Like if they started family's or died alone!

Sorry to burst your bubble but, when asked by his publisher to make a sequel to the Lord of the Rings that would hold an account of the fourth age but he refused. He said that the fourth age was rather dull compared to the War of the Ring so he stopped there.

if Tolkien wrote a fourth book....it would be most interesting if he wrote about valinor and how middle earth changed to how it is now.....

One thing that may have been interesting would have been if he had not abandoned the work he did onThe Lost Road. this was a story he worked on that was supposed to involve time-travel and follow a certain family over many centuries where there would be an occasional recurrence of a father-son with names in different languages that could be translated roughtly as "bliss-freind" and "elf-friend". when these two arose, the story would involve travel back in time to Atlantis before the fall, which he came to call Numenor. He became most excited about the Numenor part of the story and eventually incorporated that into the Numenor story we know from The Silmarillion with Elendil (elf-friend) who establishes the Dunedain line, and he then never finished his work on The Lost Road. This actually started from the Inklings meetings where it was decided that C. S. Lewis would write a space-travel story and tolkien a time-travel story (Lewis' piece was later published as "Out of the Silent Planet"

I think what would be most interesting is if he were alive today to answer all our questions.

I think that the 4th would/could be about a great tragedy that happens in middle earth like middle earth splits in to and out of the creves the dark lord Morgoth comes up in all his power he tries to take over middle earth.
Thanks Iften I will write a story in the art section of the forum
