Check Colonial Williamsburg out on the web. They have their own website, with photos.
C.W. is a huge outdoor restored Colonial American town. People come here from all over the world to see it. The employees who give tours dress in costume. The employees who run the stores, shops, taverns, etc., are all in costume as well. Some tourists enjoy their visit by dressing up in costume as well.
Timeperiod represented is about 1770's to 1780's.
There is a costume workshop here where tourists can come by and actually order a custom-made costume that they can wear while at CW. Or you can rent costumes.
They have a real working farm, farm animals, horse and carriages, etc.
In the summer the "Red Coats" arrive and set camp inside C.W.
British residents come here to tour C.W. every year. The British flag flies here. And every year a new British couple decides to retire here, buy a house, and live here!
A few of these Brits work at C.W.

Im from michigan dearborn. For somereason people from dearborn think their better than the rest of michigan. Dont know why though. Yes its nice here i live by what use to be a forest, I love it in there i happen to climb trees. I have the dearborn woods !!! its nice theres even a river that runs through it. Alothough the land development from many years ago and the dumping of toxic waste rendered the water a bad place. Slowly the trees arebeing infected, not many forms of life are in the river. Snaping turtles. One day i went down there in the summer. The water was filled with dead fish. The scales had been divoured and some of their eye was missing. I knew this was not the work of the river. The toxic waste killed them. The river is a run off of the rouge. You might have read about how companies dumped their toxic waste and other left over materials in there because it was cheaper than taking it to the dump. For that I am saddened that they would rather kill millions of animals and habitats for money. It distirbs me that people have the abilty of not feeling guilty. Fortatunly people have tryed to help the area. IT has improved the river but not much. Hopefully in many years the river and the surrounding area will be returned to the way it was befor HENRY FORD and others killed the river. When im oldenough i want to help the river but untill then ill do waht i can to help.

Im from New Hampshire. I don't know if anybody knpws where that is but its in New England(US). Its next to maine. Ive been to Maine,Vermont,Conneticut,New York, Mass, and Canada.  |
