I like the Two Towers etended vesion the most because it has some funny parts added to it. The Return of the King was great but it had one thing missing, there was a boy in the book (who's name I don't remember at this moment) who played a big part in eather Marry or Pippin's becoming a night for the insane guy who took the place of the King. But anyway Peter Jackson just left him out. Plus one of the funny senes was, after the battle of Helmes Deep Legolas & Gimly where counting up every orc they killed and each of them had 43. Meanwhile Gimly was sitting on an orc when Legolas saw it twich so he shot it with an arrow and said "What was that for." and Legolas said "He was twiching" and Gimly said "Of course he was twiching, because he's got my ax in his head."( or something like that.)

yes me to, the extended editions bring alot more volume and detail to. I aspecially like it that they made it extended and not a version with the deleted scenes in a seperated chapter.

I also cannot wait, I'm still really excited about the theatre version coming out soon. I think in the Return of the King extended version they have an extra scene about the celebration at Edoras, it involved Legolas and Gimlie. It was on a preview.

and the death of King Theodon will be extended to. I think Eomer will have him in his arms or something. Also the death of Saruman will be included I think.

Those are dramatic scenes. The death of Saruman will be intresting to see, if it is like the book described.
The DVD for Return of the King came out today!

yes Sarumans death is a scene of 10 minutes I have heard. That was to long to put into the movie, though I wouldn't mind if they had done that, but other people who are less interested in the complete story could maybe find it a bit stretched out then. But those are not real Tolkien fans then

I got the movie yesterday, and I watched it twice last night lol. It is by far the best of the three. And what about the mouth of Sauron?? Wasnt Aragorn supposed to fight with him? (I havent read the books in awhile so Im not sure.)
