I think your the first person (besides Arwen) to ever not want to be a captain right off the bat. ;D I welcome you to this kinship, and if you need anything just let me know.

Sup ya'll
I'm Gloin , friend of Elves. Yes I'm a dwarf, but I want you to accept me into your kinship. This group was made known to me by my elf friend Beleg. He has told me many things of this kinship, specifically about the silvin scouts. He has told me that the silvin scouts would like dwarven soldiers for his mighty group. But the only way I can be in this group is if I join the Elves of Lothlorien. I am wise in "Tolkien Lore." I have played many Tolkien related games in my day. So I know the ropes. I will be active amungst this site ( I have heard of the trouble with inactivity). Please send word to the Lady, Caprix, and Elfhelm.
To the Elves of Lothlorien,
Gloin of the Mountain Halls

Hello my Dwarven friend, indeed a Dwarf would be handy in the Silvin Scouts though we do not allow Dwarves in this kinship. That does not yet mean that your role in this story of ours is lost for I will put it to the High Council. And you never know we might make an exception.

To Caprix, my Elven friend- Thank you for that friendly greeting. I hope that the High Counicil will take me seriously, seeing that I'm a Dwarf wanting to join an Elven kinship.(lol) But I do hope that the High Council will allow me to join your kinship. Thanks again, ~Gloin of the Mountain Halls~

I was wondering if you would come and live in our woods when you are a member, for I think you will have to live amongst our kindred and leave your mountains. Though you will normally seen join the Silvin Scouts and with that you will be in Moria a lot.

hmmm... i think havin a dwarf in the kinship could have many advantages but how true are we staying to the story. If we call ourselves the elves of lothlorien then i think it would be wise to roleplay correctly... Remember in FOTR , the elves were very reluctant to allow gimli in...so should we treat gloin the same way? sorry bout this gloin, this is not a kick in the face from me...i just wanted to know how true to the story we are keeping? Again... this is not a post saying that i am personally rejecting gloin! and would be more than happy in lettin him join!

My friend, the friendship between Elves and Dwarves is getting better with the second these dayes aspecially now that the creature that they set free has been killed by Gandalf.
Atleast I think that the Balrog has found his end at the moment we live for I think that we live in III 3019 and the Balrog died in III 25th of January.

If you've read the simirillion then you would now that Galadriel had pity for the dwarves and loved them so I see no reason why we shouldn't let him in. And it would be politicly great because it would show that we are willing to execpt dwarves and that would make all the dwarven kingships very happy. I say let him in.

To my Elven friends- Orostigil, friend, I know and understand what your saying, let us stay true to times but also to what can change and happen. I agree with Beleg, and Caprix. The relationship between Elves and Dwarves is growing. Legolas and Gimli are great friends, why not me and you. Caprix, Id be honored to live amoungst my new found elven friends in woods, and to fight side by side with you in my homeland, Moria. Long have I wished to Retake what was once my peoples completely.
